Download MLB Roster

I'm new and I've been trying to figure how to download the roster so my game will pick it up. Help

W - Go to http://www.baseball1.com/ and select the link to "Download the Database". You will be able to download Sean Lahman's 1871 - 2005 DB. Extract the file "lahman53.mdb from the zip into your PureSim directory (likely - C:\Matrix Games\PureSim Baseball 2005 Gold Edition\). The game will detect the presence of thatr file the first time you try to create\import real players to an association.

Didnt work, when I go into set up it says it not detected.

OK... here's probably your issue.... the version of PureSim you have may not be the patched version. You need to be running the latest 1.21. That patch is out on puresim.com. The "out of the box" version only recognizes lahman52.mdb. Or you could just try renaming the lahman53.mdb to lahman52.mdb and see if it finds it.

PS : Happy to help but.... this info was all in previous posts too. Just so you don't have to wait for a passerby to respond you may find answers in the prior threads that get you where you need to be more quickly.

I do appreciate your help. I figured it out the game kept saying it doesnt detect lahman 5.1. I loaded 5.3 then 5.2. I got it now.
