-A good turn for Japan. The last troops in Pakhoi died in a Banzai charge. No prisioneers were taken. Their sacrifice allowed for the evacuation of an entire Base Force unit. No units were lost in the Nanning/Pakhoi campaign despite some heavy losses. Meanwhile, the Chinese air force was badly hurt by AA fire in an unfortunate attack on Canton, and Nells sank two transports in Burma, while Oscars fought the inferior Western aircraft with good results (3:2 losses favoring the Japanese fighters). Overall losses for the day are 10 for Japan and 20 for allies.

-Rabaul was visited by a few B-17´s in the last two days. Two B-17´s shot down by Zeroes and more two by AA fire. More than 20% of the big bombers failed to return. In Burma, Nells finished a damaged transport, but two of the exorting Oscars were lost to P-40´s. Pakhoi suffered some naval bombardment

In a press release today, the Imperial HQ speaker confirmed the capture and execution of an US spy, which was trying to get information on the secret Japanese HQ meeting. "Fortunately, he commited serious translation mistakes and passed no valuable info to the enemy"[:D], said the speaker. Meanwhile, the Japanese HQ realized how to answer topic 2[:D], as enemy two engined bombers, identified as B-25´s, attacked Mandalay.
