Darn ships refueled and did not move the entire distance I wanted them to. They were supposed to be 6 hexes away from Balikapan to avoid those nasty Stringbags.[:@] But she should live to see another fight.

I wanted to catch all those fleeing ships.

But the Jap spies seem everywhere. I think that's just Jap propaganda though - she must be hurting bad.

I assume that you have subs on the way to try & intercept her on the way to a safe port?

i 'saw' 2 hits in the replay .. and its a long way back to home .. i've beefed up bombers in south sulawesi .. if he goes back past balikpapan there are 16 more wildebeest waiting .. this is the 1st game ive allowed reinforcements for so many dutch units . and its well worth it imo 60 AV support at balikpapan .. and plenty in java and sumatra .. yes they will be bagged eventually but thier effectiveness is incalcuable.

I think CVL Zuiho will be history if it was struck be 3 separate Torpedos! [:D] That was a nice and juicy price! [:D]

By the looks of things he has not done much in China??? I'am comparing this to the active offensives by Erstad. Do you have somekind of houserules affecting there?

I think it will take at least a month before he can even begin to dream of capturing Singapore! [;)]

Thanks for all the replies chaps ..

Well the CVL has vanished .. swordfish stood down and beauforts replace wildebeest in bordeo. the stringbags attacked BB Fuso and missed .. lots are damaged now.

My " escaping ships " were 1 TK with 6k oil and the ML tf that just dropped off 600 presents at balikpapan [;)]

China is quiet .. Im besieging the south cities and i should take the coastal one soon .. one corps vs one SNLF .. today was 1-1 forts reduced to 0 .. inland is more tricky .. attack failed to dent 5 forts but losses were even 600 on both sides. 3 more oscars died too. for a few damaged P40's ( manilla boys )
