Has playtesting started?

Post by macgregor »

If so , can you throw me a bone here? What kind of scenarios are you playtesting? I know you're limited to what you can say. But the lack of activity on this game topic could be misinterpreted as waning interest. And I wouldn't want that to happen. I'd also like your general satisfaction level with this project. If I'm way ahead on this just tell me to shut up and wait like everybody else. I remember a post about a 1Q/06 release date. Even if that's been revised(I guess so,1 week left), I've got to believe there's some...if not info, perhaps an impression you or a playtester could share with us. Is 2Q/06 still a possibility?

1 week left? 1st Quarter means the first three months. So we have more than five weeks. So far as I'm aware, this is still the intention.
"What did you read at university?"
"War Studies"
"War? Huh. What is it good for?"
"Absolutely nothing."

And at lousy wages to boot.

3mo @ 10hrs/week is 120h, and we're only being paid with a free copy of the game, which works out to something like 25-40c/hour (Depending on the pricetag). We need to find a union organizer. :-P~~~~

But you also got to influence the game design! If it makes you feel better, I'm not sure I'm going to make more than minimum wage with no benefits, except for working with some great people. I've put in too many hours to be profitable.

I'm not going to complain about your going above and beyond, but I hope you've got a 2nd contract running to pay the bills.

I've got a full time job too Otherwise, there's no way I could afford to do this. I'm one of those strange people that really enjoy programming.

We're getting closer. I think that you'll find the wait was worth it.
