Remaining total supply should be visible all the time

Remaining total supply should be visible all the time

I love this game but have one particular complaint that comes to mind.

I may be at R&D phase , or at some other place and time in the interface, but I find myself frequently having to click back to the unit display main battle view and select any stack just to see total remaining supply.

I find this somewhat annoying. Total remaining supply should be visible as a persistant displayed value all the time somewhere on the main interface/toolbar above the game.

This is in particularly critical towards the end of movement as one tries to be sure enough supply is available to suppress partisan activity.

Just my 2 cents worth of contribution to a masterpiece game [:)]

Once you play with advanced supply (where the real game is imho) the number of remaining supply is no longer terribly important - if the supply is in the wrong place its not usefull anyway.

I suppose you are correct though that showing the remaining supply would be usefull when playing with simple supply. Maybe simply superimpose the number on the supply icon in the menu bar. Something like this:
