Save Error

I run Win xp WITP w/ patch 1.795. After saving, the game crashes to desktop sometimes. About 1 every 5-10 times. Has this been addressed before?

There has been a problem if you save a game, and then return to the game too quickly, it will then CTD. This is evidently because it's not actually done saving yet. When you save a game, give it about 5 - 10 seconds (AFTER it says "save complete" or whatever), before returning to the game.

I have the same problem on my newly upgraded machine ... although it not only crashes to the desktop, but also turns off the machine and wrecks the MBR.... thereby forcing me to do a bootfix from the XP cd ........ happened 3 times in one day !
Any suggestions ?

I hope this one gets fixed, it's been going on way too long.
