The USN subs continue to perform dismally, especially when compared to the RN latest performance.
Discretion being the better part of valour the USN CVs retired, as did the Japanese CV TF it seems. (hard to determine as my forward based search plane strength is marginal due to latest actions at Noumea and Norfolk Is). I was tempted to send in RAdmiral Smith's Mixed Cruiser Force but deemed it too risky to engage Japanese surface forces at night without adequate aircover to protect the cripples next day.
The "Retard's" choice of target for Naval Attack continues to amaze me. Wirraways and bomb armed level bombers can't do squat against battleships and cruisers but "Retard" sends all available aircraft after the bombardment TF rather than the more vulnerable and threat posing invasion TF 100 miles North. I know someone is going to ask "What was the CAP strength over the enemy transports compared to your fighter escort?" I will replay, who knows and really, why should "Retard" know? This CAP knowledge via crystal ball should have far less of an impact on operations IMO.
I like saying retard almost as much as draconian![:D]
