My real-life game vote probably goes to Super Bowl XXV. I still watch it on VHS from time-to-time, simply an unbelievable game.

Florida State and VA Tech for the National Title was one I will always remember. The FSU team of superstars VS Mick Vick and everyone else. Vick carried his team for a while, but just got too beat up in the 4th. Was a great game to watch. The other would have the be this years Steelers Colts playoff matchup like previously mentioned. I AM a Steeler's fan, and could not believe how the Steelers and Refs were trying to give the colts every chance to win... I about died 3 times... :)

You're not the only one.I wonder how many other teams can claim giving a fan a heart attack.

One game i wish i could have seen was a monday night game between the Packers and Bears.

I think it was in '95.I read about it in the next days paper. They played it in Chicago in near hurricane force winds and a driving rain.If my memory serves then there was almost no passing, and i think the two teams combined for 300+yards rushing as it was impossible to throw the ball under the conditions.A real oddity in modern football.

Anyone know which game i'm thinking of,and if so if there is anywhere to get it?

Well, even though I'm not a big college football fan, I'd have to say that Miami/Ohio State BCS game a few years ago (2002???) was probably the tightest, back-and-forth, edge-of-your-seat game I've ever witnessed.

For the pros (I don't see much CFL here in the States), I'd have to go with the 1992 AFC Wildcard Playoff game between the Houston Oilers and Buffalo Bills. Simply, the most amazing "blowout" to start a game---Houston was up 35-3---then, the most amazing comeback in football history, a 41-38 overtime win for the Bills. I've often thought as those Buffalo teams to be the greatest team to never win a Super Bowl. I'm a Steeler fan, but am afraid any of those teams may have destroyed my Super Bowl XL champs.

The 1958 NFL Championship game (yes I'm showing my age).
Super Bowl XXXIV (Rams/Titans)

Oh that was good one too.

Christmas Eve, 1950.

I'll elaborate: Hall of Famer Lou Groza (in what has been called his greatest moment) kicks a Field Goal in the last seconds as the Cleveland Browns, in their first year in the league, defeat the Los Angeles Rams 30-28 in the NFL championship game.

Otto Graham completed 22 of 32 passes for 298 yds and 4 TDs for the Browns while Bob Waterfield was 18 of 31 for 312 yds, one TD but had 4 intercepted for the Rams.

How about the famous Cal vs. the Stanford marching band? That was a good one too.

Steelers beating the Colts this years playoffs. I'm not a Steeler fan, but boy was that an exciting game.

Sure was. And I agree, the Ice Bowl was good too.

Not sure what year it was but the triple overtime game between Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs was exciting too.

Wasn't that the San Diego Chargers whom played in the OT game?

What could I do? It kinda shocked me. I look up, and see a picture of me at 3 years old, on the back of a Milk Carton.

1994, Vikings vs. Patriots in Foxboro. My dad and I were in the upper deck, almost in the upper corner, and we were practically surrounded by Vikings fans who had made the trip from Minnesota. The Vikings went up 20-0 in the first half, so naturally the Vikings fans were loving it. My dad asked me at halftime (20-3 score at that point) if I wanted to leave; I said no.

In the second half, Drew Bledsoe came out throwing...and throwing...and throwing. The Patriots came all the way back and eventually won, 26-20, in overtime. Bledsoe wound up throwing 70 passes, completing 45 of them. Both those numbers set NFL records that still stand today.

And I'm sure it was a looooooooong flight back to Minnesota. [:D]
