I only had the chance to review part of your AAR. Was it an evac operation for PI?

Supplies to Singapore & commando raid of Malaya. Plus general psychological warfare as well. [:)]

I'll probably fail miserably, but I'm at least having fun with it. Ack- gotta get back to work.

Harrasing the Japanese in 42 can be great fun. They are so used to everything roling their way that when something unforeseen happens it really seems to cause them greif. LOL.

Nik's counterattack was swift:

PUNT!!

Image

Actually, this looks more like a Cat surprise attack on Nik while he was asleep in bed.

(But I do have to admit that #2 does have a "Huh? What happened?" look on its face.)

Yes and I would give it a 7.8. Form is a bit sloppy but it looks like surprise was achieved.

Attacks without prep points tend to look like this. A lot of hissing and scratching without any real rhyme or reason. Gets the job done though.

i thought the form in bed was GF...[:D] The punt thus achieves the double purpose of attacking the invader and annoying a cat lover...[:'(]

As long as someone got seriously annoyed.

Yep. I understand better why the Doolittle & Makin raids were morale boosters after playing the Allies in WITP. Look - I scratched the paint on a DD! Break out the Moet!

Actually, in that game it's 2 Feb 42 & I've sunk 7 Jap cruisers & 17 destroyers. Just don't ask me about my others. [X(]

Yep. In my grand campaign game I have only sunk one CA or larger ship. Althoug a sub did put 1 or 2 torps in the Akagi. Both events were the cause of great celebration.
