Project Managment Change

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Project Managment Change

Post by David Heath »

Hi Everyone

Jean-Claude has left the project for personal reasons. If you get any updates from Jean-Claude we let everyone know. In order move this project forward we tapped Ron Lorence aka Hard Sarge to step up as project leader. I have asked Ron to take over Jean-Claude duties and he has put together a new team with the members that have been working with Jean-Claude and we have all the work done up to this point. Keith Brors has made some requested code changes and this version should be release in French and German. Steve Ford is redoing all of the planes currently in the game and making new ones from a list Ron provided.

I expect it will take Ron and his team a little time to get themselves up to speed on this but I do feel we are moving in the right direction. The release date Jean-Claude of March is not going to be possible. I let Ron take the next questions and I sure he will keep everyone better updated on where we stand.

Well gang
just so you know, we are busy, we are working

I been in touch with a number of people getting what needs to be done in the background done, and getting everything else ready

I have seen some of the "early" art and it is looking very good

I am not sure we can do all of the things I had hoped to do or talked about trying to do, but I will say that we will try to do what we can to improve the game, fix the game and add what ever goodies we can

we do have some of the major points done already, but it is the minor ones we got to spend a lot of time on

go ahead and blast away, I will try to reply or let you know what we are doing (within reason)

Hi All,

Sorry to hear that JC has left - I hope he is ok. Has anyone heard from him? I'd like to say how much I appreciate all his efforts - its because of him that I still play.

Best of luck to HS - I have every confidence in him that he will do a good job.

Can't wait guys,
G

Thanks, I think ?

we are moving along, pretty well now

shortly, I hope to be able to release a buglist of the bugs that "we" have been able to find and fix, along with some of the features and other goodies we have been able to add

we are still pretty much in a Alpha state (fixing it for windows made a mess) but opened it up to be sweaped for bugs

once out of the debugging mode, we should close the gap pretty quickly

of course one hassle of games of this type, is the length, we got to make sure what we think is fixed on day one, is also fixed on day 101 and 201

but....

we getting there
