Yes, I miss it. [:(]

There wasn't a notice of its shutting down was there. [&:]

I remember some mention of upgrading to a site that would permit us to upload and download our files from.

Has anybody else heard anything?[&:]

Doesn't seem like it... I didn't see a notice either.
It seems the whole domain has been cancelled...

Well that's quite disappointing that he didnt give any of us the chance to take over the forum at least. Now all the modding info we accumulated during the last year is lost?

we are making a lot of assumptions here.
I know that when i first started coming here SSC was down, but then it came back up - Who knows what the reason is.

Let us continue on here, and i will go about creating a new site on a locally hosted machine, that we might accumulate a secondary database (perhaps in WIKI form) on it - Should SSC come back, so much the better, but if not, we may have a suitable standby.

I have no idea what happened, I"m in the dark as much as you guys.

Diablo was the main guy behind the site, maby something happened at his end, I have not seen or heard from him for many months now.

I wish I could go create a new one with all the modding/general info I have, but I have 0 time for that right now, maby once things settle down I can help out in that area.

I will see what I can do about pulling the backupfiles.

Not all the information would be lost should SSC not return. I have been keeping a local WIKI for Starshatter in a program call Wikipad. I can make the database files available I was planning on doing so anyway though I wanted to get the formatting and typos straighten out.

Furyofaseraph has proposed an excellent solution in the meantime. Lets hope SSC returns but if not we will have to adapt

Hi guys, yeah i was just starting to get back into SS when suddenly, no more SSC!

I guess the only way to showcase our stuff is here or the grouper site.
I have been out of the loop for a few weeks so i am a bit behind the 8 ball here.

SSC is down? That explains increased activity in here [:'(]

I was never too fond for SSC anyways. If I'd been, it would had left me much less time to play games. All those subforums where only couple posts at time and too much fancy stuff wait to load [>:]
You know what they say, don't you? About how us MechWarriors are the modern knights, how warfare has become civilized now that we have to abide by conventions and rules of war. Don't believe it.
