Problems loading into an actual game!

Post by oldpro 8 »

I'm having problems going into a game. I can select teams, but when I hit next the game ask me to hit f9 to load a game, then it states that it can't continue. I have a p4
3.20 with 3 gigs of ram and a 6800 ultra. What is the issue?

Oldpro,

Can you post some info for us on what type of game you are trying to play? Is this the default quick play or did you change the league/rules at all?

oldpro,

Is this the default US League with American rules Quick Play game or did you change the rules? If you changed the rules, please try changing the league to match the rules before you go into Quick Play and let me know if that helps.

Oldpro,

Ok, unfortunately I can't duplicate that problem, so it has to be specific to your system. Have you tried the troubleshooting tips in the readme yet as far as shutting down all other applications, making sure that you are not running dual monitors, updating your drivers to the latest revision for both video and sound?

Can you please follow the instructions in this forum to post a DxDiag file for us? Based on your quick hardware summary, you should have no problems with this game, so hopefully we can figure out what's wrong.

Oldpro,

Thank you. Your sound drivers are from 2003 - can you see if there is an update for those please? Also, have you tried turning the sound option off in game to see if that helps with your system?

You might have to uninstall the game from scratch

I updated my drivers for my video card and continued to have problems
but then uninstalled the game
then reinstalled it
rebooted
and BAM!!! everything works now [X(]

Dunno if that applies to sound but it wouldn't hurt to try [:)]

Make sure you back any leagues tho cuz it deletes the folder when you uninstall
