QB Read Progression?

Post by mark1726 »

Has anyone figured out how the QB goes through his reads? If you assign a primary reciever he will stare him down and almost force it in there which is fine, but I can't figure out what he does if there is no primary target. The manual states that he will take down and distance into consideration, but on the practice field I am not sure what that situation is. From what I have seen the QB throws to the first reciver that "looks for pass", and if two are looking for a pass at the same time the QB begins his read then it throws to the deepest one covered or not.

Anyone have anymore concrete observations?
