Substitutions

I cannot get my in game substitutions to "stick". I select the player during the play selection phase, I get the screen w/ the players listed. I select the player I want for the formation, but when the play starts, the old player is still in the game. Am I missing something, or is this not working properly.

Just to say, I am enjoying this game. Rough in some places, but great potential.

I'm having the same problem.

It would also be really nice if the players already in the game were either highlighted or didn't appear in the list of subs for that position at all so you could quickly tell who's really available to go in.

When I try to substitute I think it works (don't notice any red or orange players) but the game assumes I have already selected my formation and I am stuck with something I don't necessarily want. BTW - I use the mouse.

It does appear to work on the substitution screen but if you look at the player numbers back on the field they're back to the original players. That has been my experience anyway.

Hmmm, wonder if it resets the fatigue or if it just resets the color.[&:]

Either way the mouse click-through means I have to run a play from a formation which I do not like.[:@]
