The damage to Yorktown and Hornet, with no sunk or damaged Japanese CVs in return, pretty much sealed the fate of Noumea, and all New Caledonia. Not being able to deny Bill a foothold at Koumac however was the real turning point. So, about a week ago I began a slow air evacuation, careful to take breaks to allow the database to adjust so no units were lost to the disappearing LCU feature. During that time Bill landed at least six more LCUs giving him overwhelming strength on land/sea/air. I wonder if he was surprised when he attacked today?

Man, it is going to be tough to retake New Caledonia. Maybe I'll just starve it and hit something weaker in the Solomons.[;)]

To counter the bad news from New Caledonia, confirmation of the destruction of CA Kako was released to the news agencies. How much is Noumea worth Bill?

Since the Battle of Norfolk Island in mid June the location of the Japanese carriers has not been known. Given the aircraft losses suffered by the CVLs and the constant sea time which KB endured, perhaps they are undergoing some rest and refit.

Since the Battle of Norfolk Island in mid June the location of the Japanese carriers has not been known. Given the aircraft losses suffered by the CVLs and the constant sea time which KB endured, perhaps they are undergoing some rest and refit.

There is only one way to find out. [:D]

Well, Bill said for me to sit back and "watch the fireworks" as his Operation Black Lotus began. I did and it was as false as my love of hiphop...the sync bug completely effed it up. Man this is getting annoying...once i awhile fine, but 75% of the turns are way off.[:@]

The opening day of operations had cloud cover that canceled the Helens from bombing on the first day. Things are going according to the plans aggreed apon by Yamamoto and Tojo. [:D]

The Liz is just being fielded in a few squadrons at the moment. If I feel it is not worth the man power or equipment I will scrap them quickly. I just like the idea of having a 4 engine bomber.

I like you having it...easy to shoot down. In my replay your Helens attacked, and so did your Singers based bombers, but without the 100 Zeros! It was bloody...you lost thirty bombers. Then I see the actual report.[:(] The sync thing is killing the enjoyment of watching turns for me. This is the first one in maybe half a dozen that was accurate. Was your last turn last night against me? If so, I really think that seperate games and their different setting are dictating the sync bug. Can't believe there is no provision for the settings to default to the game specific game settings when the game turn or replay turn (001) is loaded.

I wonder what would happen if I loaded the game turn, saved it, then loaded the replay? Going to try this tonight and see what happens. Maybe this will properly allign the settings.

Actually our game is in its own install and no other games are being played out of it. I saw a suggestion in one of the posts that said something about exchanging the settings field from you file to mine and over writting it to fix the sync. Can not remember where I saw it or what the file name is.

Well, settings can't be the prob then as I've only got this game running.
