Problem starting spring training

Post by ValinFel »

I cant' seem to start spring training. I started a sandbox league, imported real players, ran the draft to fill out the rosters. Made a few trades, releases, and free agent signings. Now when I go to start Spring Training, I get a message telling me "All team rosters must have exactly 50 players before continuing. Please check team rosters and make the appropriate signings or releases". So I checked every team's roster and they all say they have 50 players.

Please help!

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation for the last 4 days. One thing to try is to go to each team and hit "auto assign roster" from their modify roster screen.

If that does not work, can you zip up your association and send it to me? You can use www.sendthisfile.com (its free).

Hitting "auto assign roster" on all teams didn't work. Still get same message. I have sent you my association. Thanks for looking at this.

OK, I got it. The problem is the Oakland Athletics don't have enough hitters on their minor league roster (they only have 8). The message is misleading in sandbox mode. Go to the A's and get at least 9 hitters on their minor league roster (and maybe check the other teams as well).
