Core units vansihed in campaign game

Post by Zardoz »

I just finished a battle in a campaign game.

In the next battle I had only a HQ and 50 points to build up a support froce. I. e. the total core force was away.

I changed the save files very much, added units, eliminate others, put in a different map. Is this caused by my changes?

I have the starting point of the first battle as save file and also the scen files I used to change the campaign battle. Can i reconstruct it?

Kind regards,

Mot likely, yes. If you are not careful during the renaming/editing of these files, you can lose the campaign data parts.

This reminds me of the chap who went to the doctor complaining that "It hurts when I do this"

The doctor replied,

"Then don't do that"
They struggled with a ferocity that was to be expected of brave men fighting with forlorn hope against an enemy who had the advantage of position......knowing that courage was the one thing that would save them.

It's the map change, in all probability. When you pull a new map you need to click all units back onto the new one.
Retreat is NOT an option.

Campaign design is rather complicated. Fooling with the scenarios in any way outside the campaign can create real havoc. My suggestion is to simply reload the campaign and start over.
