Why a STOCK game btw. ??

The Air to air combat model will never feel right again (MEATGRINDER from UBER CAP) after you get used to NIK MOD... [:-][:-][:-]

You will not like what you see.

Against a very agressive and methodical japanese player, you have no chance as the allies in the first 9 months of the war. Any attempt to interfere with his operations wil most likely end with grievious losses on your side.
Do not even THINK of taking on the KB without having a massive airforce yourself, because nothing, but a massive attack will get through a desent KB CAP of experienced zero's. In NIK mod you actually have a chance to HURT the japanese carriers with low exp. LBA. In stock, just do not even think about letting your planes fly, because they will get slaughterd without results..

It is simply NO FUN to play as the allies in a stock game, because the chances of doing damage to a methodical Japanes player (without massive centpac reinforcements) is virtually nil. Imagine the allied A-A losses in our game doubled or even trippled for much less result, while land based FLAK is next to useless.

I personally will never go back to stock again in a PBEM........
