Hi,
I live Australia, Vic, Cranbourne.
I was wondering if any other players live close by so we can meet up for a game.

You might want to read through the Roll Call thread.

King,

I'm only 20 minutes away ... but kinda busy right now. No chance of getting any WiF played. Maybe springtime? Perhaps we can get a face-to-face of MWiF sometime around Xmas?

For those of you confused by the above time references, I should point out that those people walk around upside down. Spring arrives in October and November.

I was hoping to get a responce from you, pitty you do not have the time for a game atm. I would be intrested in meeting up and playing MWIF/WIF when you have the time.

I have had nothing to do with WIF for over 2 years now. Reading the great work that has been done in MWIF has given me a spark to get back into it.

There's no up or down in space. That's just typical Northern Hemisphere arrogance! [:'(]

Hold on there. Did northern hemisphere bigots come up with Australia's catchy little moniker "the land DOWN UNDER"?

King Tiger..

I'm part of a small WiF group that meets Friday nights in Richmond .. you'd be welcome to join us.

Oh, we're from Tigerland,
A fighting fury, we're from Tigerland,
In any weather you will see us with a grin,
Risking head and shin,
If we're behind then never mind,
We'll fight and fight and win.

For we're from Tigerland,
We'll never weaken 'til the final siren's gone.
Like the Tiger of old,
We're strong and we're bold.
For we're from Tiger— yellow and black!
For we're from Tigerland.

For the uninitiated, this is the theme-song for the Richmond Australian Football team, the Tigers. I'm a Carlton man myself, but Tigerland is one of the best. These club songs are hilariously old fashioned but have a religious intensity for the fans. Here 'tis...

Hey, we could do a MWiF version.

Oh, we're from Fatherland,
A fighting fury, we're from Fatherland,
...
