Hike to Hike mode

Post by steelcurtain »

While not as important as a slow sim using real game physics, I would like to see a hike to hike mode put in the game. Basically, the huddles are removed and the time it takes for the huddle is subtracted off the clock. So the ball is snapped, play run, then players are on the line of scrimmage waiting for next snap. I have no desire to see players huddle up. Its necessary in real life, but not in our fictional world [;)]. I'd rather shorten the time it takes to watch a game a bit then have this piece of realism.

I think he is suggesting this as a SIM type features too help allow you too speed up Watched CPU versus CPU games. Not really a bad idea, would help speed up those type of games some and might be an alternative if David doesn't put in the old "Slow SIM" feature he had in the game before.

Ah ok, I get it now. I hope my question didn't seem like a criticism steelcurtain, I didn't mean it that way.

I'm an arcade mode player, and sometimes I forget that I'm in the minority on this board as far as that goes.
