serial number follies

attempting to install the latest beta patch and now IM getting the message that my serial number is invalid. Should I brave a complete reinstall of the game (I have it on disk) or has my serial number suddenly vanished into cyberspace?

Rob,

Make sure you're using the right serial number. You can double-check it with www.findmyorder.com. 99% of the time it's either one digit off or the number from another game. [8D]

Ill double check it in the morning, but I copied it straight from the email the first time.

the 2nd and 4th time right off the disk.

Ill let you know how it goes...not a big deal, till you release the latest beta on monday or tuesday.

I went to my friend's house to help him out with his game cuz he's pretty new to computers
and had to install the latest Beta patch. He deleted all his email including the invoice for MaxFB. Luckily I stumbled onto this post and was able to get his serial number and install the patch.[8D]

The number one reason for this is not having the dashes in the serial number. They must be typed in as well.
