Below are screenshots from a game between Tennessee and Mississippi State- 1952. UT's lineup is composed of players from the entire decade, BUT the player ratings are NOT adjusted to make this an unbeatable all star team. It's just some of my favorite players from that decade. I set ratings to reflect a standard that I have been using since my FBPRO98 days. Example: maximum speed rating is 85 for WR's, small RB's and DB's. Agility is set from 50 to 70 to reflect the mobility of different sized players. If you look at the individual stats, Granger for MSU has 73 yards on 10 carries. These were tough between the tackles runs. He is a big lumbering FB of 215 pounds (big for 1952) with speed of 78 and agility of 55. He just broke tackles. Didn't out run anybody. Gordon for UT has 80 yards on 4 carries- two TD runs of 39 yards and 33 yards. He is 187 pounds with speed of 83 and agility of 65. The big run by Anderson (35 yards) of UT was on a wingback reverse. On that drive, unfortunately, Majors for UT fumbled the ball away at the MSU 4. MSU quick kicked back to UT on 2nd down and 11, setting up a Gordon's 33 yard TD run that clinched the game.
In game play, I found some AI busters which I will correct or eliminate. I played the game by calling offense and defense for both teams to see the results of various combinations of plays and defenses. Kind of like a controlled scrimmage.
As you can see from the screenshots, the managers for both teams had better get out the "Tide" or "All TempaCheer" to wash these uniforms.
