Test Run

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Sardina has always been one of my favorate playing grounds (if I had my choice, I would add about 10 more fields there and really have a party)

(real life, this time period, the 325th checkertail clan, shot down over 100 planes in combat)(mid May to late Sept, they shot down 102 planes for the loss of 16 of there own)

now that one can be bloody, depending on how well the early raids draw off the fighters to let the follow up raids come though, time it right and I get away scott clean, time and wrong, and....

Well, you know the old story, best laid plains and all

a nice little weather front move in right after the first wave took off, so the 2nd wave was a little delayed, which all in all would not of been so bad, but everybody who was suppost to chase after the VIIIth, went after 2nd tac instead

so the VIIIth pretty much had a nice milk run (and missed there main target) while 2nd Tac was chased and hounded, luckly, most of the Gerries were short of fuel when they finally caught up

odd fights in the Med, looks like the IT sleeped in this morning and were late taking off, there by missing most of the fun

Gerry in the Med was crafty as normal, and was able to slip inbetween 3 raid groups and still hit the one they wanted and get out

at night, Hamm too a pounding, Munster was missed by about 10 miles ?

LOL seen two 219's slip onto there field while 2 Mossies circled it, lucky buggers

still, all in all, a decent start of the war, but was hopeing for better

nothing to bragg about (yet) but over all, not too bad

this is a AI vs AI game, which it started at 2-2-8, 20 days later, it is 2-3-10

over all not a bad test run

let the game play a AI vs AI game until Nov 1st 1943

had a score of 3-4-14 during the day (not bad for a AI game)

the GE kept a 1.5 to 1 kill ratio, but some things still needed to be corrected in the OOB
