A Chilling Feeling

I've been wandering through the posts about the new revs and had a very chilling thought. I purchased the game about six months ago. The disk was titled WarInThePacific-SetupReleaseDR-v150.exe . Date on the game executable is 6/20/2005. All this time I've been thinking I have rev 1.5 and all I needed was to download patch 1.6 and I was good to go.

Is this true? If not, would someone please tell me which rev I have so I can download all of the intervening patches (if necessary)? Thanks.

1.6 is the latest version unless you count player mods

Hi Dude,
I know 1.6 is the latest, but it is an incremental that requires earlier patches to be loaded in order to be effective. What I don't know is which of all the pile of earlier patches my particular game requires (if any).

I'm assuming you have the 1.5 release as your base and only need post 1.5 patches.

Hi Bob,

I use it because when I did my first set of US AP graphics, I picked the Wakefield as the 'show' picture for Rogue USMC's website. He liked the art and made me a Wakefield banner. I like Rogue and all he has done for the forum members and in hosting our stuff. Besides I really like the banner, so I use it.

I'm one of those people who believe that after all the big guns have gone off, it's the small, soft, dirty and smelly infantry puke that has to get there and sit on the ground, in order that we may call it ours. Anything we can do to get him there in some degree of comfort is why we pay taxes and hoist our glasses on Veteran's Day to 'Absent Companions". I guess I really am an AP fanboy.

At one time, the SS Manhattan (Wakefield) held the worlds' speed record for oceanliners. She and a sister took the 2nd Marine Division to New Zealand.
