Wow, In my Great Pacific scenario, Guam has a reinforced garrison. In the Beta game Terminus took very heavy casaulties unloading at Guam. As the Japanese I spent several days suppressing the guns with my 16" Battleships and got off fairly light.

I would think the better way to take Manila and Corregidor is from the land, would not want that happening. Another reason to think twice about Pearl Harbor as well.
