In playing coach mode the punter misses the entire ball. Is this a new bug, or is this my punter???

I don't think this is a bug or others would have posted similar results by now.

I just ran many punt plays and they all worked just fine.

Check to see if the team has a punter. I had the same thing and found out the problem was that quickplay generated rosters don't always include a punter.
