USMC Air Units

Post by hbrsvl »

Hi-Can USMC VF, VB, VT operate(make attacks) from US carriers(CV, CVL, CVE)? If no missions, can they use carriers for transport? Thanks, Hugh Browne

Very gamey though unless you make a house rule, most players do it..[:-][:D]

Best to make a house rule....[8D]

Marine units tend to be mediocre in experience relative to the Navy units[:(]

The 24 size F4F units are handy to put on carriers to beef up CAP. I usually take off the useless TBD sqd to make room for them......

Agreed with the Fighter for TBD substitions....However, TBFs I like to keep on the carrier...

For those USN players who are either brave enough (or in the case of my pathetic last game with Mr. Miller) stupid enough (I was USN) to go for a CV battle before you upgrade to TBFs, the marine fighter unit is a necessity...Not that it helped me though!
