Bought the Game, the CD and the download

Post by ogrepz »

Now what,

It did not send me an activation code when I did the download so I cannot play. The official forums will not let me register it says the administer is not allowing registrations at this time and when I try to start the game to get to the playnet servers I get errors.

I played this game the first year it was out, I was there on the first day when the servers sucked. Now all this time later and they still don't have their stuff together. What gives? Did I make a mistake by coming back?

Hi, you should have received an email and also should have been shown the serial number after you fulfilled your purchase. The serial number should also be printed on the CD. In case either didn’t happen, you missed it or the serial number did not get printed on the CD you can retrieve the serial number at any time by going to our E-Store at http://www.matrixgames.com/store.asp and clicking on "Store FAQs", there check the "I need to lookup my serial / unlock key" link. Or go to www.findmyorder.com and enter your order number and password.

Its certainly not Marcs fault ,and I, for one, dont blame Matrix in the least. You both said you played back in June of 01; if so, you might recall that CRS are ones who bonked it up. Not only at release, but to date - it seems. I'm sorry that you feel jipped and I doubt you'll get your money back. The bright side is that COTA is close to being finished [;)]

Not being able to make an account usually means that someone is trying to use special characters...umlauts etc in the creation page. If you would post civily in the help forums you will get your sim running.

I have been waiting for help for 5 days an zero.

Being nice or not nice has nothing to do with poeple taking your money and not providing a service.

I paid money for something and have not received any service.

Kinda simple stuff.

I have been asking for my money back, because they are unable or more like unwilling to provide for the serviice I paid for.
