Team Game openings

My friend and I are long term wargamers; we're looking for a 2x2 team campaign using the latest version of CHS and scenario 155 and Andrew Brown's extended map. We wish to be allies.

We're looking for a historical style of play and not folks that spend their time trying to exploit holes in the game engine. Once rolling, we're looking for at least a turn every other day and hopefully more than that.

House rules are negotiable but we are looking for Dec 7 surprise and historical setup.

Can I ask how do you plan to divide the areas of command between players - I just thought it can be an interesting experience to divide Japanese forces between Navy and Army, just like irl. If so, I can participate as one of Japanese commanders. I'll need to download latest versions of CHS and AB map.

AS allies, we intend to have one player control US, the 2nd player control Australian, UK and DEI forces.

The Japanese players can divide up their command as they see fit.

Sorry, kinda technical issue, downloaded CHS and AB's map but the archives can't be opened with my archiver (winrar 3.30). Any suggestions?

You might want to reinstall winrar. I use it and had no problem extracting everything.

The files that I downloaded are broken. I can't repeat the download for a period of time (and I don't think the problem is here), but I have previous versions of CHS (1.01) and Andrew's map (v. 3b). Can anybody tell me if we can use this versions and are this... things... ugradable?
