question regarding Conversion of AKs

Post by sven6345789 »

actually two questions
a) I do not seem to be able to convert AKs into commerce raiders, although the manual says so, neither in 1922 or in 1926; why? (i know you can only do it in osaka or san francisco, but it just doesn't offer me the conversion into a commerce raider)
b)if you convert an AK into a Q-ship, it remains an AK; how do you find it in the ship list in port if you have something like 50 AKs in the port? Do i have to write down the name?

sometimes it is useful if you check the forum first; well answer to question 1 is ->conversion to Q-ship (ML)
answer to question 2 is->they have a loadout of 2000, compared to the other AKs
hope i am correct; once more, great game...

actually for the usa you can only convert AK's at mare island - likely that detail in the manual wasn't changed from WitP...

Japanese Q-ship will have cargo capacity of 1000 ...

EDIT: Seems that Allies do have the same capacity for Q-ships - 1000

There is also in database a ship class of 0 capacity called "Small Q ship" , but seems it's not being used so far..
