How do you change the maindata file

Post by WinstonFatCat »

I tried to change it once, when I saved it it made a seperate file called playbook1. I would love to be able to work with it to see if the QB would run less........someone help me out here....I would appreciate it.

Thanks

I have Office 2003 and I can edit anything in the file but I can't change the structure of the database in any way. As long as all I do is change the values the file is fine. The key is once you make a change don't save the file. The change is being made directly to the database so a save isn't necessary. I made a change to the QB settings and the scambling is *much* better.
