Better to put some rocks in his pack. Eddy pull the beer in a wagon and keep your distance.

Okay Dave, since I've got your attention....not to rush or anything....but what are your thoughts on BftB development?
NoWill we see a campaign type system?
Not likely.Any possibility of a PBEM enhancement.

There seems to be a rush of foolishness appearing on this board recently.

1 When I say “walk” the battlefields I mean get driven round the battlefields. My plan is that, if there is any walking to do, my subordinates are capable of doing that; I intend staying in camp guarding the booze, pointing at maps with long pointers so that I can remain in a prone position, and barking orders at anyone within earshot.

No! Not the dogs. Being licked to death is my worst nightma ... hold on, it might not be so bad ...ORIGINAL: sterckxe
"guarding the booze" is the only thing I'm a bit doubtfull about in the above paragraph. Just to make sure I'll bring along my 2 ferocious dogs to guard the stuff.
Now you're just being unkind. Who'd of thought it of you?ORIGINAL: sterckxe
GOC = Geriatric Old Critter or Generally Obvious Crackpot ???

Yup. General Officer Commanding. In the British army usually a Divisional Commander or Major General. However, Eddy, in order to avoid confusion you may just call me sir. How's that?ORIGINAL: sterckxe
Well, it was a wild guess as I seriously don't know what GOC means - GeneralOberst Commanding ? [;)]

Now run along old boy, I need my shoes cleaned, my belt blanco'ed and make sure the Bollinger is cold tonight ... last night it was decidedly warm ... yes, I know were under constant shell fire at the front, but we mustn't let our standards slip, otherwise we'd be no better than the Blasted Boche.

The latest edition of PC Gamer (UK version) did a fair-sized article on wargaming and they were extremely complementary about Panther Games and a few other groups. On that basis they should hand COTA a very good review, which will help it along. Within also lies a few words of wisdom supplied for the article from Arjuna. So evidently he's not too busy to do the odd interview. [;)]

Yeah, May, it came out within the last week. It's got a front cover devoted to 'Battlefield 2142'

Hey I supplied those "words of wisdom" many months ago.[:)]
