Ooo, another patch coming. (Gleefully rubs hands together.) When? (Just joking.)

Thanks, Nik.

Finally assault values listed in the combat reports. Thank you all who helped contribute to this feature being added to the patch. Now back to clobbering the Japs.[8D]
It doesn't make any sense, Admiral. Were we better than the Japanese or just luckier?

Nobody "invented" English. It just sorta evolved from other tongues.

no. straffing a PT or a warship even without touching the esc key can still lead to an out of sync.
Hmm -- too bad, because strafing PTs can be an effective tactic. To avoid sync trouble, the IJN should use surface ships only against PTs, then?

I was quite suprised how many words in english have french "roots" (or it would be better to say latin roots...

Jury, debt, judge, court and many more wrods came from France...

Now i do know why Brits don't like French...[:D]

PS... interestingly, word law came from Denmark.... This is for you Terminus..

You can hit the arrow button on the display tho, instead of the ESC key.
-F-
Nik, it's only the ESC key that causes the sync trouble -- the arrow button is always safe?

Now i do know why Brits don't like French...

It's not the French language that we Yanks dislike. (A women sprechenzie-ing Francaise is quite exotic.) It's some of the politicians... But I realise this works both ways, I think.

(Carefull, we must not get banished to the Steakhouse.)
Is it a true? I have enough problems with grammar and now you are telling me that both ways are correct?

I have an old Webster's NewWorld Dictionary, 2nd College Edition, copyright 1982 on my desk.

It lists "Defence: (di fens') n. Brit. sp. of Defense"

Of course, the English posters will protest that that is an American dictionary, supporting an American dialect, or whatever. *shrugs* Both ways are fine, AFAIK. Same with "Skedge-yule" and "shed-yule".

Yes it is...as it should be [;)]

To answer Pauk's question, this is the way English was created in the first place. The more powerful force got to shape the language. Otherwise there wouldn't be English it would be Celtic - now there's a tough language to learn.
