DD refueling from AK cargo

I had a mixed AK/DD convoy en route. AKs were loaded with fuel to the top. Settings were not to refuel.

This morning I see:
- DDs are refueled but down on ops points
- AKs are only 93% loaded

With AKs this versatile, who needs AOs :-p

That's what you get for loadin' fuel on your AKs !!! [;)]

Of course if you hadn't, the DDs would still have refueled, off the "fuel" (the endurance) of the AKs. You can't help but refuel your DDs, but you can control whether they eat from the cargo or from the endurance !

Is it realistic that any ship can refuel from pretty much any other ship in the same hex?

It is a stretch - especially when it becomes the "be-all-end-all" tactic, used day in and day out by all eligible ships.

Something like this tends to reduce the importance of AO. I have noted this happening to TK's as well, but is not consistent.

In my opinion AO's should be the only ships that refuel other ships using their cargo.

But to me this is more a nuissance than a real problem - would be nice if it was eventually fixed.
