Disengagement Penalty

Post by rhinobones »

I have always thought that the penalty for Active Disengagement is a bit too severe. I can understand taking casualties and losing equipment, but to have a unit’s entire movement allowance burned is a bit much. Also, more often than not, the unit is also routed in the process. Now the unit cannot even dig into a defensive position.

In the future, maybe Ralph can add a global event much like Theater Recon where the scenario author can set the probability and severity for disengagement.

That would indeed be fine, though i have no problems with the current disengagement rules.
