Medals and Such

Hey guys. I just got the full game (hurray!) and was happy to realize that I could transfer my demo character to the full game. However, I have no idea how to add all those nifty medals to my collection. Obviously, the campaign medals are won when the campaigns are (I've got three so far, and am closing on my fourth), but are there any hard requirements or criteria for the others? The citations in the manual are kind of vague, and many are exactly the same (like the Wounded Lion and the Red Flame). Does anyone know the actual requirements for the medals? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know... I once diverted my Destroyer to intercept an incomming flight of bombers. I received somesort of recognition for taking them out but for the most part High Command doesn't think too highly of me[:D]

Hmm... I havn't played in a year or so; so the names are probably wrong...

Getting shot out of my fighter by a *#@^ mine got me the Red Lion (the Purple Heart equivelent )
(Barely) Saving my wingman (another frigate) from destruction got me the Command Medal
IIRC it was taking out two frigates with a flight (4) of fighters that got me the Flight Medal; or maybe it was clearing the minefield in one pass...

Past that I have no clue
