Ghost of the past

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Until last year I was working in Bexley near the river Thames outside London.

On the building sites there they would frequently recover old WWII bombs, live AA ammunition or other ordnance. Some of this arrived on sites as rubble/landfill from other locations on backs of lorries.

....makes you think. [X(]

For your Information I work at what used to be an ex-RAF airfield and they are still finding ammo and even an old WW2 bomb a few years ago. Its much more common than most people seem to know. The Name of the airfield by the way was RAF Harwell.
