Here we go again: may update?

Post by Soft Heap »

It's been 10 days since the first effort of David to persuade Frank to sit behind a pc with at least a 26.6 k modem. I visualize the struggle and think David's almost got Frank behind the desk! So, any news?

I wonder if Frank isn't being held in a dungeon somewhere. Maybe drugged, slumped over a keyboard somewhere. Maybe.

If not, his games should have been removed from the Matrix roster a looooong time ago. It's getting skin crawlingly embarassing.

It's getting skin crawlingly embarassing.

That's probably the most true statement to be made in this forum in a very long time.

If Frank exists, he certainly deserves the "Customer Disservice of the Year" award if any such thing exists. By largely ignoring the problem, Matrix's reputation has suffered a bit by association. At least that's how I see it.

Maybe we can create our own awards ceremony. I hereby announce the first annual "vapies" as a series of awards for the most hyped software that never actually exists. Matrix can get a nomination for the "we will get fooled again" award for the company that pushed other people's non-existant software. They are a long shot against anyone who carries Microsoft products though. Frank seems a shoe-in for the "whatever. bite me." award for complete and total apathy around an announced title and also gets the nod on a second nomination for the "fraudulent practices" category for keeping four year old pre-order funds for a title that isn't even in active development. He'll likely win at least statue one for his mantle - which is actually a CD-ROM disk with the substrate missing so that it is clear and completely empty. Now let's see if we can get a TV contract for the actual awards ceremony and start scouting out a building that can house at least 6 chairs to accomodate all the attendees. [:D]

As I just posted in the other thread, it's been what, over a year since Frank had anything to say here?

All I know that in any other business a lot of people would think Frank was very, very close to being in a fraudulent situation here.

As one of those people who actually paid full price for Trench; now GOA; as well as TRFSTA4 four years ago, I only desire that Frank come to this forum for a couple of minutes and make one post that simply states that he understands the concerns and that as soon as he finishes work on BON, he will devote full time to GOA until it is complete. After he makes that one post, he can return to working on BON and never come to this forum again, until he is done with BON and I will not raise a fuss. I don't think that is asking to much really.

Thanks, you just stated what I was ranting to my wife about. First things first, so to speak.
