or a lot of drivel has been occurring.....

Isn't one of the definitions of wisdom the ability to discern between wisdom and drivel?

Oh boy, a new spreadsheet is in the making. I have 9 regions where I track oil and resources. I track this by base every month to figure out where to send my goodies from the SRA and I'm making a new sheet to track overall shortages/goals met/excess for distribution vs. goals. It'll help me see trends and where I need stuff at a glance. I can have a year's worth of data on a page.[:D]

it turns out that teens really are only half-a-step away from full blown insanity.

I assure you that parents already knew this.

If I remember Psyc 101 correctly, the inability of the teenage brain to reason efficiently, and to correctly assess risk, is due to the fact that the young brain has too many neurons and pathways, thereby causing the brain's electronic signals to become lost and confused. As the brain ages, brain cells die off and this actually helps to make the brain more effecient. So you see, killing your brain cells by drinking beer does make you smarter.

How does one know if they have a concussion? I got smacked from behind pretty good while driving to work this AM. Headache started almost immediately. Now starting to feel a little dizzy. [&:]

A concussion is a matter of definition. Medically speaking, if you lose consciousness after a blow to the head, that is a concussion. i guess it is possible to lose consciousness for a split second and not realize it. Symptoms are headache and confusion.

If your pupils start to be of unequal size, that is something far worse, and requires immediate intervention of a doctor, preferably a neurosurgeon. After trauma, it usually means there is intracranial bleeding. Of course, other things can also do this (but usually the symptoms are not associated with trauma.) This can occur even if there is no concussion (loss of consciousness.)

Whiplash pains can go on for a very long time, and even though you'd think logically that they'd be confined to the neck, that's not necessarily so.

So, the problem with teens is too many Threads in the brain? [:D]

Well, the headache and dizzyness were gone by noon. My back continued to be sore most of the day, but its better now. I think I was just too tense when the guy hit me. I was in a far worse rear end collision about 10 years ago and didn't have any side effects, but then again I didn't have a care in the world then either.
