RHSCVO File Set 2.10

Post by el cid again »

The first release of RHSCVO has been distributed to testers and to Cobra, who will send it to Roguemarine and apparently also Spooky - for downloading. Cobra has offered to help anyone with installation issues. I must work now - and then return to do some supporting documentation - and issues the Russian Active Version of CVO.

Note that British withdrawal points in RHS are Aden and Melbourne instead of Karachi and Bombay as in stock. You can play with Thai ships after they join the Axis - on 22 Dec (a day after they join technically).
You can play with blimps, heavy transports, submarine bombers, gliders, kaiten, midget subs ... the list is long. And I think the economy pretends to work.

I have just sent the RHSRAO Scenario 60 v2.10 to both Rougeusmc and to Spookie I do not know how long it will take to post

all the support files and instruction for setting up are allready hosted for download
its broken up to help those with dial up
Note: Spookie has most uptodate files at the moment - Rouge need to post about 4 ammended
map panels but I have not seen him on forum for about a week must be out of town.
when setup and ready for scenario and if not allready hosted in the interim PM me
and I will send to you via PM

I will also check forum every half hour for those who may need help in setting up

I saw a question in one of the posts about the extended map and the AI not working on it properly.
All test carried out by the test group (dozens of tests) indicated the the AI is working a treat on the extended map a lot of the work carried out was to bring the AI up to scratch
as far as code would allow (and in many cases beyond that)

I had no issues while doing the beta with the extended map and would reccomend it. Of course I only experienced about a week of gameplay (several times with restarts with both sides). Overall everyone should enjoy, what I would describe as a thoughtful new way to immerse into WitP. Hats off to the team and Thank you for the many forthcoming sleepless nights.
