Okinoshima is CL and has 2 x Shotai: Okinoshima and Okinoshima-1 (Alf + Alf) a/c 1/2
Tsugaru is CL and hasn't any shotai a/c 1/0
Ikitsushima is MLE (and has 4 x 75 mine)
Are is ok??

It is a judgement call. These ships are "minelaying cruisers" similar to the British Abdiel (generally classified as a CL ) - but for some reason western naval cataloger's don't usually call them CLs - probably due to lack of armor (a part of the minelaying cruiser concept - USN also had one). The CL is due to the main battery - which is big by ML standards - and which is supported by proper rangefinders and fire direction center - unlike most auxiliary ship guns. These datum points are all correct - or at least what I meant to say. Not all Japanese float capable ships were assigned planes.

I haven't map parties WITP10 and WITP11, both for RHS and small jump map. Are they created??

I am not sure. I thought we were using Andrews maps for them - we need Cobra's input on that. The RHS map is essentially a partial redo of Andrew Brown's Extended Map - and I don't think we have replaced everything in it. As far as I know we just replace panels 00 to 10 of two types - with hexes and without.

- Aikoku Maru and Hokoku Maru are placed at start on South China Sea and ordered to Society Island,

Nice. These ships were wrongly in the South Pacific in CHS. They both were sunk (bearing no less than 300 torpedoes - a major loss) in the INDIAN Ocean. Neither had broken the Malay Barrior when the war began. So I moved them to the South China Sea - but never checked their destination. Since I don't know how to get them around the barrier - or their historical route - I set the detination to 0. Players may set it - or the AI may - and either way I expect them to sink! Just like history.

Aikoku Maru and Hokoku Maru were NE of Tuamoto Archipelago (French Polynesia] on Dec 8th 1941. They returned to Truk on 4th Februaray 1942 after sinking two Allied merchant ships. CHS is correct.

It was not my intention to do this, but data field errors of some significance cause me to prematurely do a release - who wants 57mm gun outfitted Japanese planes?

Otherwise some minor issues listed above. Anson added to plane set - you need new art from Cobra to see it - but not assigned to air units yet (I misplaced the list). I will add one set of supply sinks and US warship corrections from AK Dreemer - then do the conversion to BBO - presumably now for 2.23.

2.22 is now uploaded to distributors.

Revision: 2.22 also has Anson units as follows:

2, 14 and 23 Squadrons converted to it (13 upgrades to Hudson, 23 to Whirraway)

66, 67, 71 and 73 Squadrons added

All RAAF

Unsure if this one has been posted yet...

Slot 1132 - the 6th Philippine is flying the P-26A. It has no upgrade path, so if this unit survives the fight in the PI it will be stuck with P-26A's for the duration.

USAAF pursuit squadrons have an upgrade option of "UK LAND AIRCRAFT". An unwanted slot move presumably.

VT-8 on board of USS Hornet is armed with Yak-1 instead of Devastator or Avenger.

HMS Illustrious has no airgroups on board. Deliberate or error?

It is RHS-RAO, so I should be able to give orders to Russians? But I can't. Am I doing something wrong?

There is a number of airgroups in allied reinforcement schedule that lists as "organizing" with Tokyo as home base.

version 2.20:

- 14th Army (067) has 3" gun instead of infantry squad
- 6th JAAF division (093) has empty device 408 in slot one
- IJA (925) 9cm mortar regiment has only 30 support squads but 36 mortars
- IJN airborne SNLF (932) has empty device in slot one
- Type 13 radar has still penetration 0, intentional?
- IJA North Chishima Fort (971) and IJA Kitachishima Fort (970): should it be the same unit? (kita translated = north)

- G8N1 (030) has in weapon slot 7 device 000 10 times
- M6A1 (046) weapon slot 1 is empty, intentional?
- Amagi (012) has no torpedo bombers
- Nippo Maru has no aircraft (they are on Kimikawa Maru)
- Ise and Hyuga airgroups have wrong strength (they are 14/2(1) and 8/1 -> should be 14/8 and 8/14)
- Musashi has float fighters (F1M2 FF), intentional?

I keep thinking that Allies are like Japanese - that you don't want to define upgrades or you mess up production. But you don't. Thing is - what is "historical" here? What WOULD they fly? P-36 I guess.

Version 2.22:

- IJN Port Base Force (960) has Kaiten D -> should have Kaiten C that upgrades later to Kaiten D
- IJN Special Base Force (963) has Kaiten D -> should have Kaiten C that upgrades later to Kaiten D
- all base forces that are immobilized by static facilities and based on TOE of slot 960/963 will become mobile as soon as they get Kaiten because Kaiten is in the same weapon slot as the static facilities (it will remove them)

I do not recommend that option!

A comment line is in the report - and I had no idea it would interpret a comment as an airplane! Easy enough to fix. Remove the comment.
Look for it tomarrow. Going to nap now - the go to work.

Illustrious has two squadrons: 800 and 817. Not sure why you don't see them.

Don't know. Anything that gets them into either the P-39, et al or P-40B, et al tracks would be fine.

I didn't know that. Seems unlikely -- but OK.

Except for two - which are assigned a CVE - I deleted them. They appear too late for RHS and were 9999ed. But for some reason they appeared on the report. Can't get rid of them. Strange. They won't appear now. Got to work on those first two.

- 5"/54 DP gun (061) upgrades to 4"/45 naval gun (037), is this correct?
- RTN Trad (817) has wrong arrival date (after being sunk) and port (Sasebo)
- RTN Rajong (821) is already sunk before arrival
- Mino Maru (826), Eijo Maru (827), Nimi Maru (962) have wrong entry in the sunk field
