I note that the Thread has prospered much the last several months. As we approach 10,000 posts I find myself reflecting back on the knowledge and wisdom gleaned from the many words of sagely advise. I have learned that:

1. The Thread is good [&o]
2. Don't eat fish vandaloo unless you're prepared for the consequences [:@]
3. The bunny is a heretic and needs to repent his evil ways [:-]
4. Robert is smarter than his company's firewall and security system
5. Martians have a sense of humor
6. Mike is being brain washed every day at work [X(]
7. Terminus is Danish for Spam
8. Speedy is a nice guy, but has no luck invading islands that start with W or with foreign women.[;)]
9. A certain penguin we know leads a double life as overlord and professional salsa dancer
10. Don't seek Robert's advise when buying a house [;)]

The sand in Saudi is so fine it's like flour, and makes for poor quality concrete. We, on ze other hand, have very good sand and loads of experience in making very high quality concrete. Thus, selling sand to people who live in a desert. Clever, neh?

You would be suprized how easy it is. You get some 2 bit burglar who has been a criminal all his life and you explain to him that 3 hot meals a day and a roof over his head is better than the life he is living now. Throw in a weight room and drug rehab (which is what forced him against his will into a life of crime in the first place) and it starts to look good. I've had them start confessing to crimes I did even know about yet.

Sincerity is everything and now that I can fake that getting confessions is easy. I have convinced rapists that I understand that it wasn't their fault and that they need help. They just have to tell me what really happened and what "Made" them do it. Add some bluffing and BS and they all end up in jail.

Everyone has the right to remain silent but few people have the ability.[:D]

I remeber just prior to the Gulf War in 91, I was watching news of a clip from Baghdad and I saw in the background a gas station selling gas for 2 cents a liter (I did the conversion).[X(]
