Cuban, good or bad

What do you guys think about Mark Cuban buying my beloved Pittsburgh Pirates? Good or bad for Pittsburgh? Baseball in general?

Deep pockets, likes a winner, turned around a dreadful NBA franchise, and Dallas already has an MLB team. May not be the worst of all possible combinations.

Well one thing about it maybe the Pirates wont try to bargain basement it anymore with Cuban......hes proven with the Mavs he will spend the money to get players.

Wow-- I've been stuck in the 50s too long! [X(] The first and foremost thing to me is that Cuban was born in Pittsburgh.

Secondly, he's on the Forbes 400 list.

Thirdly, he's only a year younger than me, and has a bit of a rebel spirit. I like that.

Hopes: Better days are coming. It's about time. Pirate fans deserve a competitive team to play in that beautiful park (yeah, I mean PNC park, not the long-gone and lamented Forbes Field). [:D]
