Worth the upgrade at this point?

Post by VanScoy »

While I love PureSim and Shaun, I don't have a ton of dough right now. Is 2007 worth the upgrade from 2005 Gold at this point? Is there a noticable difference or are the changes mostly incremental? I can read the features I just wondered if the experience has been changed radically?

For me, the new Almanac adds tremendously to the game, and the soon to be released expansion system looks good too.

To me, 2007 marks where Puresim is really coming into it's own:

The almanac is a big plus.

The new player card, believe it or not, has really added a lot to the game for me. It feels a lot cleaner than in the past; clicking on tabs instead of sifting through a list of transactions, achievements, etc. really makes the players "come alive" ... if that makes any sense.

If you use fictional players, the changes to the game engine are a big, big deal. The HR explosion is gone and, even better, players now have varried career arcs.

Last one I bought was 2004 until last night that is. :)

I'm simply amazed at the progress of this game.
