Let me see if I well understood. Wild Willie was talking about patch 1.80, correct?

And patch 1.801 has massacred this nice feature, right? "A unit will not disband if there are fragments left and blah blah" or something like that. I think I won't be upgrading either, Pauk.

There are already "training" squadrons (in CHS and especially in RHS). I do NOT want to disband an unit and wait 60 days. I want to use the pilots from these special squadrons [;)]

P.S.:
needless to say, I will be avoiding gamey training methods.

P.P.S.:
and now off to the pub: let the debauchery begin. Have a great weekend and don't get too drunk (I will) [8D]

A fragment can't have fragments.[:D]

"A unit will not disband if there are fragments left and blah blah" refers to disbanding the PARENT group not any fragments.
The reason behind this is that the fragments would be orphaned, and thus cause problems later.

Fragments can still be disbanded.

Michaelm, yes, I know "a fragment can't have fragments". Me mates & many drinks were waiting for me last night. I didn't pay enough attention, sorry [:D]

In other words, Wild Willie's "method" has not been massacred. The fragments can be disbanded. Thank you.
