Noob question -- historical rookies

Sorry if this is dumb -- but the subsequent year rookies when using a historical year are they actual rookies from that subsequent year ? I don't have the game yet and the demo time has run out... THANKS

they are the actual rookies, but you have an amateur draft, meaning you can't guarantee that they go to their actual real life teams.

There's a mod of the Lahman database that allows you to import players their age-18 years rather than their debut seasons. I'm not sure whether or not this would work with PS, but it's worth a try. Do a google search on "Gambo database".
