-A raid on Kohima resulted in heavy losses for Japan, as fighters failed to find the bombers, as a result Ki-21´s and Ki-48´s ran into a strong enemy CAP escorted by only 3 A6M2. One A6M2 and 6 bombers failed to return, but four enemy aircraft were destroyed in the ground. Meanwhile, bombers from PM attacked another Japanese TF, losing two B-17´s

Deadly offensive

Post by Bombur »

-A devastating bombardment, followed by an air attack from Rabaul and a sweeo from Lae, resulted in 95 enemy planes destroyed. Meanwhile, KB located and obliterated and enemy convoy. Up to now for ships, including a CL, sunk, but we expect at least 15 ships sunk. The question now is: where are the USN carries. Is there a trap for KB? In that case, will KB be able to flee or even to win a carrier battle?

KB returns to Truk, with fuel tanks almost empty due to the full speed run that allowed them to surprise enemy ships.....Ki-21´s made another attack on Dacca, missing the target again, and this time there weren´t targets for their escorts. One Ki-21 lost to non combat causes.
