Change setting during game

Anything that comes to mind that you would like to see in future versions of Maximum-Football.

Change setting during game

Post by Breeze »

It'd be REALLY nice if we could change the game settings during a game.  Someone in another thread mentioned changing from human control to CPU; it'd also be nice to change the graphicvs options mid-game.

And does the game HAVE to automatically change your settings the nanosecond you drop below 25 fps?  I'm ok with the window popping up, but if the game runs just fine at 22 fps (which it generally shoud; Matrix even said that) then why should we need to change things?

Ya, I get that message all the time, its kinda annoying but I get use too it now.  My system is below min specs too and my Frame rate is like 17 to 20, but it still runs.

I heard that the gameplay is linked too the Frame rate (which is sort of odd too me) and that might be why some people have Gameplay problems.  David has suggested about redoing the entire Physics Engine so that it doesn't rely on the Frame Rate of the Computer too handle the math of this.  I'm still on the Fence on this, I have found ways too work around the Game play problems related to Frame Rate, but I'm wondering if it might be best for David too reorganize the 3D engine so it doesn't have to rely on the Frame Rate of the Computer to do the Complicated Math.  This might be very ideal for Low end systems that run the game.  The Down side is that this could take months to implement if he goes this route.  [8|]
