Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

1. do i need admin rights on my work pc to install and play this?

2. can i play it in windowed mode?

1.- i don't know.

2.- game only seems to support to 1024x768 mode

Hard to say whether you can install without admin rights -- it depends which rights your own account has.

COG doesn't run in windowed mode; it uses DirectX's fullscreen mode.
