Stacking and short cuts?

World in Flames is the computer version of Australian Design Group classic board game. World In Flames is a highly detailed game covering the both Europe and Pacific Theaters of Operations during World War II. If you want grand strategy this game is for you.

Stacking and short cuts?

Post by Fred98 »

How many infantry counters can stack in a hex?

Are there to be any short cuts used such as:

- an easy way to locate a unit or a unit ype

- the total attack factors in each hex

- the total defense factors in each hex

etc etc

3 land units, of which only 2 can be Corps / Army sized.
and from 1 to 4-7 planes can stack in a hex depending on the terrain, and other land units present (some land units increase the max stacking of planes)

There is "Units panel" that I am revising presently that contains this stuff. It has individual depictions for each unit in the hex and gives summary information like what you were asking about. The recent discussion about this in the Interface thread concerned having a fixed location versus a popup. If you are interested in putting in your two cents, you might read the last page or two of that thread - pose some more questions or make suggestions.
